  1. I have a quick question, are we allowed to use the kanji for words that we know? There are several assignments in the first few chapters that have some words I already know the kanji for like numbers and other words. Would it be acceptable to just use the kanji? What about on tests? If I know a kanji that hasn't been taught in class yet am I still allowed to put it down on a test? Just looking to be prepared. Have a nice day.

  2. You can use kanji as much as you can. I don't discourage you. However, you have to make sure that you write those kanjis correctly. Sometimes, you think you know but you remembered wrong. Overall, if you can write them correctly, you may use those. As for a test, on the couple weeks or so, we are learning hiragana and katakana so if I have a quiz for hiragana, you have to answer it for hiragana. On the test, if you write the kanji wrong, you might deduct some points because the thing it is wrong is wrong.
